DodiHome’s Bay Area Showroom is Now Open!
We are thrilled to announce the official launch of the DodiHome showroom and manufacturing facility in Sunol, CA!
Dodi is how you design and buy custom kitchen cabinets in the Bay Area. We enjoyed celebrating our grand opening on February 25th, 2023, with our valued customers, contractors, and designers.
The big event
The grand opening event showcased DodiHome's first production facility and showroom, where visitors could see how the cabinets are made using high-tech machinery and skilled craftsmen. They also learned about Dodi’s custom kitchen design app, and how easy it is to create and visualize their own cabinets.
The event featured live demonstrations of DodiHome's cabinet manufacturing process using state-of-the-art CNC machines, automated edge banding, and highly personalized finishes. Materials showcased included maple hardwoods, ApplePly®, dovetail joints, and custom and flat panel doors.
Attendees were impressed by DodiHome's vision of revitalizing tradecraft in local communities by disrupting complex supply chains with end-to-end software and local micro-manufacturing. Our customers appreciate DodiHome's service, quality and value as well as our focus on the environment and how to reduce waste and emissions from transportation.
The grand opening was a fantastic opportunity for the Dodi team to meet Bay Area locals enthusiastic about modern approaches to home remodeling. The event marked the beginning of a new era, one that empowers homeowners to design and buy custom kitchen cabinets in a simple, fast and affordable way.
Who is Dodi?
DodiHome was founded by May and Mike, two entrepreneurs with decades of tech and computer gaming experience who have a passion for home remodeling. They were joined by Angus, their third co-founder, to help them grow and scale their business.
DodiHome was born out of May and Mike’s frustration with the current way kitchen cabinets are made and delivered. They realized that most homeowners are limited to buying from big box stores. Cabinets sold by big box stores are mass produced and involve complex supply chains resulting in limited customization, lower quality, and long delivery times.
DodiHome is focused on a better experience for homeowners, contractors, and designers. How do we do that? We cut out the middlemen. We developed a web app that allows homeowners to design and price their own cabinets without talking to a salesperson. And Dodi uses local manufacturing with high-quality materials and a variety of door styles and finishes to produce custom cabinets in just a few weeks.
